Ok I'm obviously sold on this now. I like the gear thing. The fact that you can get cooler looking gear but you're not chasing after +2s and such is fine by me. I love cool looking gear and will fight for it.

All that's really confirmed is that it's 2012 and heavily speculation that it's in the summer. I've been anxiously waiting myself ~_~. I've grown attached to my beta Guardian and it's gonna be wiped D: Definitely going Guardian and probably Thief on release, both are fricken fun as hell.

On release we should make sure we pick the same server!

Pay once like Diablo. But it does have a cash shop where you can buy things like exp boost, cosmetic things, and such. No pay2win items tho.

A good chance that a weekend beta event is around the corner

4 hours seem short for what the download will probably be but what the heck, I'm in!

I do hope there's a weekend beta thing. There was a open beta for it the day before but I couldn't figure out where to go to download it.

In the past, they usually have the beta weekend event during the same week as the stress test or the following week. We'll just have to wait and see. But damn, i'll JUST be getting home as it's about to end arghhhhh

I'm late to noticing this but they actually did it. They made the game look just as good as their concept art and their early goals. Look at dem environments.

Beta has been completely amazing so far! Currently have a level 22 Elementalist and a 6 engineer.

These screens show the beginning of a dynamic event. After fighting some smaller mobs, a giant worm-type mob appeared in which case the screen zooms out and you partake in an enormous boss battle. Everyone who is around the area is notified that this is taking place and can participate if they choose to.














After many deaths we, around 7-8 of us (random people who happened to be around) , were able to take it down. It would spawn a lot of smaller, tough mobs that took some effort to take down, while at the same time casting AoE fear and doing some sort of AoE whirl attack. It wasn't easy by any means but fun none-the-less!

Forgot to SS the pic of the giant treasure chest that it drops upon it's death (was too caught up in the moment!) Everyone receives they're own loot from it.
