Me too, ihave a 3 month old laptop, and the "hdd is failing" stuff goes to not responding all the time. Shit sucks

When modding go bad. There's this mod that changes this rpg fps game into a real fps accuracy game. No more bullets missing when you point directly at stuff. Thing is, now my casing shells are red x polygon things.



Crysis Maximum settings on everything but resolution, and maybe AA, didn't check.

Didn't realize I was in square desktop resolution. I saw that I was getting steady 30fps and wondered what the crap, so I started spinning while taking screenshots to see if it would go to 20.


Boat shot at me and knocked down trees with bullets...


Changed res after finding out I was in a stretched resolution. It's 60fps because I'm looking down.


Water looks great in this game. Looks better in pictures because you can actually notice details better in stills.

Oh and Bulletstorm looks amaaazing. Wish they had more levels in the demo but I can play that one level all a few times and still like it.

I was outside in my science+5 armor then some black guy was running at me and I heard gunshots but he didn't have a weapon but had his dukes up running. So I shot him (head shot, decapitation, cue Duke Nukem voice) and got negative karma points and wondered what the crap that was all about. 2 seconds later someone sniped me from who knows where with one bullet. Death. I stood there dumbfounded, then I got a big grin on my face. This game is pretty hardcore, well mostly because of the mod (this never happened to me in the ps3 version).

Wait this wasn't real life?

Maybe I was out of line categorizing that guy as "black dude." Should have said old looking dude. Sorry Brown People Revolution, don't take points off my card please.

The flying eyeballs are a fantastic touch.

Wow last night I just had one of the creepiest moments I had in a game since silent hill 2. When it's night in this new fallout mod you really feel crippled, start to depend on sound and feel safe in light shelters. There's the pip boy light but it is short. You definitely want to seek a shelter when it starts to get dark. I almost walked off a cliff during this exploration, it reminded me of my first time playing ffxi but this cliff I could actually fall off of ha.

Thinking about it, I need to look up some mod that lets me charm monsters to fight by my side to get my ffxi bst fix. Hmm

I can't believe I'm getting all into pc hardware, specs, and stuff now. I remember watching a cartoon called Freakazoid (I think it was the first episode) and the guy was at home anticipating the mail man to show up with his computer card. When it showed up he rushed up to his room and was all excited and crazy stuff. At the time I was thinking, "Haha that nerd, how can he be so happy over a stupid computer part, that's silly." Fast forward to now, and I'm drooling over hardware pictures... My young self was dumb.

Oh and dudes, you'll love playing games on pc with a ps3 or 360 controller. It's like next gen is here. I played Dirt 2 demo with the keyboard at first and thought it was eh, then after I got my controller set up the game blew me away. Such awesome graphics, detail, and framerate.
