Ya if it's mainstream I've probably already heard it. You gotta like something that most people don't consider mainstream.. DON'T YOU?!
My woman is a freaking pop junkie, if you play it on the radio she will like it.
I hear so much bad music it's not even funny :(

Taking this in a different direction.

anything Terreon Gully has done. One of the nastiest drummers. He plays with Stefon Harris & Blackout and the Christian McBride Band, but also plays/has played with a lot of artists, most i'm unfamiliar with.

Lettuce, Soulive, Budos Band, The Greyboy Allstars

Sharon Jones & The Dap-kings, I haven't heard the new album yet

Three words.

Batman Forever Soundtrack.

Not even remotely kidding, prolly one of the best CD's I've ever listened to.

PJ Harvey, The Offspring (covering The Damned), Massive Attack (with that chick from Everything But the Girl), Mazzy Star...tons of good stuff on there.

not bad! I like the jazz sometimes, gotta be in a real mellow mood though or I can't dig it.
That Sharon Jones song has killer music and her voice isn't too bad either. Thanks!

Yeah there's a few good songs on there, that Flaming Lips song on there made me laugh when I heard it for some reason... idk if I'd put it on the best cd's ever but it was solid. Little too mellow/chick rockish for me though.
Also fuck that Everything but the girl, girl. My woman drove me crazy with that terrible "like the deserts miss the rain" song. That bitch isn't getting any more of my eartime.

Stratovarius - check out the songs... No Turning Back, Rebel, Eagleheart, Destiny

and I would pronounce that girl's name the PROPER way,

Lehyphena

hahah I didn't like finding out Tchaikovsky was gay, it twas a sad day when I found out

yeah I definitely will have to, only song I currently possess by Judas Priest is "Painkiller," and it is pretty awesome, any recommendations on a good album/albums to start out with?

I recently got a discography of music by Ensiferum, catagorized as "Viking Metal" so far is notttt too bad; ranges from like energetic power metal to finnish sounding more mellow songs haha defintely interesting though

I couldn't really recommend any good priest really cause I don't really listen to them much but if you burn a few then browse the band, his wailing is fucking hilarious sometimes.
Only song I can think of right now is turbo lover, which, while hilarious probably isn't one of their best.

I'll look for some decent songs for you to check out on Saturday sometime.
Unless someone else here is a real Judas Priest fan who knows what's good or not?!?!
