RATM donating all the money they receive to this shelter. Something I probably wouldn't expect from that other guy tbh, lol
only a % of the income is going to charity and its still shit, most of the people who bought it have still yet to even listen to it, it was shit 17yr ago (didnt make top 20 went to like 27 or some crap) and its still shit now
one thing this campaign did do is give x factor even more publicity lol

I don't think anyone is willing to deny that it gave Joe more publicity, it also made him look like a douchebag when he threw a dart at a picture of Zack de la Rocha, only to get his ass raped by 50k downloads a day later.

he was (and i believe still is) actually outselling at 2-1 but because of the late cd release wasn't able to play catch up.
you guys dont think its ironic how no1 tells you to go buy the xfactor song yet for the last 5 yr its hit top spot, but a song that basically tells you NOT to do as you're told gets to no1 solely because a bunch of muppets did as they were told

If any one of the 502k people who downloaded that crap had anything of a mind of their own maybe they'd have bought something more deserving of a christmas no1 hit, maybe not Joe's song but something atleast in keeping with christmas (either christmassy or some novely gimmick like the muppets n queen), god knows there's plenty to choose from...

I actually do agree with the fact that it's lame Joe had one less day of digital sales, but Rage also only got digital sales, no physical singles which Joe did get.

There's no real difference between being "told" to go buy something and to do it because you're
supposed to.
Anyway, these people should be given any sales/marketing job they want. Keep in mind that I did say any job that they
want.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/ar ... -down.htmlUH OH LOL
Anyone that can sell 17 year-old shit (as it was phrased) over something that just came out (keep in mind that those two did it with no marketing budget, I'm sure Cowell's is somewhere in the $10's of millions) deserves all the accolades they can get. Basically by doing this, they outmarketed an entire marketing firm; I'm sure X Factor has its own marketing firm they outsource through.
Somehow I think I've seen something like this before.

Percent or not, the fact that they donated ANY money should be noted. Do you really think the joe guy that won was going to? Sure, it's a possibility. But it's fact that rage did. They actually care about the less- fortunate
