The testers in California probably have no contact with stuff like gob drink, av, Almighty Alp, and such like. That or they are also JP. SE probably didn't know how to do it themselves other than the fact that someone in the team put some stupid random counter to AV's 2hr's that no one would out right understand from the story, or randomly/strategically do during the fight (!!and notice!!).
I see SE like to have puzzles and crap in the game at times. But if no one can figure out your puzzles after years something is wrong with your friggin puzzles! It's like selling jigsaw puzzles and having 20 pieces missing but the extra puzzle is you have to make them yourself with your own cardboard, and draw your own missing pattern on it! Screw u se. And don't screw up FFXIII.
