Canada is a place where you can't buy alcohol from the corner store. You actually have to drive/walk to a place called the LCBO for liquor the Beer Store for beer... even then, it's both government controlled since it's a huge money maker for them. Also, 13% taxes on sales. BUT HEY! Free healthcare right? fkn

not really... maybe in the other parts of the country, but in quebec you can buy beer in any department store (for wine/liquors you need to go to the SAQ though, but there's like... a million of those anyways, so it's not really a big deal).

and also wtf @ expensive. If you think things are pricey here don't go to europe. yeah taxes are high, but everything is fucking cheap compared to any other developed country, so it's not like it really costs that much.
