Yeah the south is rough. I keep thinking about moving up north but I'm used to my routine and friends/family that are still around.

In the last couple weeks the wife and I have seen Hangover 3, Fast 6 and End of the World... and some how the only one I enjoyed was Fast 6. Hangover was just awful, like holy shit it was bad, and EotW was boring as shit, it's super-uneventful and the only good part was the Backstreet Boys cameo.

I watched Fast6 and enjoyed it a lot as well.

I also watched Man of Steel with the dad on Father's day. I really enjoyed that too, though I might be biased because Superman.

Oh I almost forgot...

The only thing I hated about it was Amy Adams, so tired of seeing her in everything, and the crappy forced romance stuff. Almost ruined the movie. Women don't need that in every movie, they like explosions and fighting just like us.

And mindless, wanton destruction of an entire urban city.

It's like Dragonball for Hollywood, and I loved that about it.

hah I told someone else that. It's pretty much DBZ, crazy relentless destruction. They didn't hold back at all.

Amy Adams is gorgeous though.

Identity Thief was purdy funny for a comedy, most of them are pretty terrible.
Hangover 3 was also decent.

Yeah I liked Identity Thief. All of my fears of the web in a movie, quite scary.

I'd like to apologize, I confused Amy Adams (super man movie) with Rachael McAdams (every darn chick flick movie actress). Looking over Amy Adams' movie history she is almost the opposite of Rachael McAdams. I am ashamed, but I still didn't like that forced romance stuff getting in the way of awesome action. At least it was like 5 minutes of eye locked "I want to kiss you and I know you want to kiss me, but let's not ruin this moment" silence.

I think the thing with Rachael McAdams is that she seem to be the same person/character in each of those movies. They seem to cast her because of the huge success Notebook was, just like That Tatum dude, at least he's funny though. They paired them both up for the movie "The Vow" and I guess they made a ton of money off of that from the girls that like romance movies and Tatum. Amy Adams characters are pretty diverse at a glance with Enchanted, Fighter, to Man of Steel (ok I can't really think of many movies she's in).

Amy Adams was also in Talladega Nights with Will Ferrell as well, which is how I fell in love with her.

Rachel McAdams was in this one kinda intense thriller movie with that dude who played the Scarecrow in The Dark Knight. It was out of character for her, I agree.

HOWEVER she was still lovely.

Red Eye, I watched it recently like a week ago shortly before I saw Man of Steel. Probably why I thought she was everywhere when I mistook Amy Adams for her. In Red Eye she looked like she did in Wedding Crashers, Leap Year, The Vow, etc. (same style, makeup, mannerism) though yeah in Red Eye she was in a different role it went from "Is he hitting on me?" to "oh no he's an assassin" pretty early.

To be fair, the dudes are also type cast like her. Can't really think of one, dudes that get popular usually try to branch into action roles and comedy because it's fun though.
