Truth be told, with an English degree to back up another degree it looks REALLY good on your resume. Not only does it show that you have writing skills, but liberal arts degrees focus on a wide-range of studies, whereas specified degrees only allow you to enter one (generally) field. However, like I said, there is the job-finding problem.

english degrees... pretty much do nothing in my field (engineering go!) i will however be going for a masters in business once i get my degree (which is still way too far away... still 60 credits to go after this session bah.)

like I said I just started my MBA program. I'd LOVE to get a job overseas that allowed me to transfer into an MBA program over there but I'm not really sure how things are going to work out yet.

I got kicked out of my Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD remix group for being accused of turtling. I'm shocked because it was kinda out of nowhere and I was finally about to get the most wins. I only started playing cautious when the dude picked cammy and started to turtle himself (I looked up turtling after the event). My Blanka aint no turtle. I was told, "I don't play with turtlers", and I thought, "What the kwap!!?"

Now i need a new group. Hey guys can I join yours? I got great skillz and I now know exactly what turtling is (1. Taking minimal risks. 2. Don't force openings, wait for them.). I can't promise I will be all offense but I am a black colored Blanka with the red hair. If you don't accept that color I'm not willing to pick another. /emo

It's a fighting game, so think of this as saying play defense until your opponent is vulnerable.

The opponent was Shenmu from TG. He was in a corner tapping a punch over and over, waiting on me to screw up. So I just let go of the controller and stood there until he stopped out of curiosity. I wondered if he had a turbo controller or not. Seems like he didn't, because it kinda pissed him off. He was punching like a machine gun I wasn't going to throw myself at that. My mother didn't raise a fool.

I think it was because I was finally breaking down the super precise Shenmu and I started to catch up to his wins. He ended up picking his best character (cammy) and started to play very defensive and serious himself. Before that, I was just straight smartly assaulting his Ryu. With cammy I have to be aware of the ground, the middle area (because of cammy's good jabs and such) and the diagonal forward area. If I wanted to go in I would have to float in mid air. If he wasn't so perfect I wouldn't be sitting in a corner thinking of my next move as if it was a chess game. The dude is that good, he's like a computer.

Also a Blanka tank is almost as good as a Taru tank. When blanka is crouching and blocking he take up the least space of any of the characters. He's a pretty compact guy.

Thanks sef, I'm no longer emo. This has been a good session. Emo thread delivered. However, I'm still no match for this guy. I just got lucky finding out what he hate. Randomness, yea that's right. I used my super power of randomness on his ryu and made him flee to his bread and butter, cammy. He then got frustrated with my mythological movements and carefulness (turtle?) that he quit mid game. I did try rushing him before but it resulted in 3 losses. When I kept my distance cammy was useless.

Man it's 2am later. Take care and I hope Vedder gets out of emo like Sef helped me get out of emo.

It's amazing how many people dream about flying. It tricks me good. I'd think it's real and I'm merely floating/gliding and it seems natural. Like I would do a run jump and glide for a bit, and if I do it right I can stay in the air longer. Stupid stuff.
