Weren't you a hume thief or somethin?

You played an immersive online fantasy role-playing game in which you can summon legendary mythical creatures, command spells beyond your wildest imagination, and become a variety of strange creatures and beings big and small; yet you chose to be a HUMAN with TINY KNIVES.

No wonder you think they're boring. :nonono:

I was the best job in the world, Beastmaster. Since Beastmaster everything else pales in comparison. Those of you that never soloed BST to 75 missed out on the best FFXI experience. Pause was back! 75rdm/75bst sub was pretty cool too.

Yeah picking hume was a mistake, Taru was the correct choice. I regret that every day.

Definately. You saw and fought things most people never dared go near. Plus, the rare bst parties were epic.

But it was perfect for the situation, pet (cat Pam) and master (human Jim), deadly combo of awesome air high fiving each other.

I've heard it's good, I haven't even so much as watched a video of gameplay.

I played 1.0 some and it was pretty terrible. It seems like people are saying good things about the beta lately but, they might have been the same people that thought v1 was *awesome*

Gonna check it out again when it relaunches but I'm not very interested.

I played a lot of the different betas, it was boring to me. Getting to 20 was tedious but easy, nothing fun really happened.

On the nuke mage I just used ice > fire x3 > ice to regain mana. Repeat as needed.

Archer was better but still no risk of dying.

Gladiator was derp all the way through. One button win.

Pugilist looks like it's complicated but you probably could just stick to using the first two abilities over and over.

What really made things boring was the fact that your new abilities seemed so weak and bland. 20% dodge for 15 seconds 2 minutes cool down. Defense up 15 seconds 2 minutes cool down, spell cast stability for 15 seconds 2 minutes cool down. Oh boy, I can't wait to use these, especially since I hardly have trouble with spell interrupts anyway! For PUG I just used the dodge whenever because the animation looked cool, and maybe by some luck it could probably allow me to kill a lot more enemies before I have to slow down.

When I played before it was completely un-interesting before level 50.
After cap it was pretty fun though.
