I went to my first NHL game on Wednesday. I typically don't like to watch sports on TV but a good time was had seeing it live. Flames suck but that's ok ^^

Hockey is like that overhyped movie that people can't stop talking about.

I legit started trying to watch the Sabres this season and when I express disappointment with what's going on I get "You're watching the wrong season" like watching the previous 14 years or so would have made me a huge fan.

Sucks for Ruff though, he was around back when I still used to semi-watch it before I realized I had a hard time doing so. I literally think I stopped watching after Brett Hull cheated and they didn't call it in 99.

NHLPA 93 is a fucking awesome game though, maybe slightly behind RBI Baseball 2 and Tecmo Bowl as far as awesome for sports video games.

NHL 99 was my favorite (most memories from that one)...the Bowie cover intro was fucking amazing.
