Nah I'm just friendly. Buy some lunch or something and they act as if you gave them a roll of money. They are emo (no dis respect to amylea). I think I'll start drawing eden members as if they have super powers. Do something to get people posting sketches or stick figures (effective even though they're simple to do. Take the stick figure animated gifs for example with bazookas and going all crazy). Today I will draw Scor for it's his birthday. Now that I said I will do it, I have a deadline, I work best with deadlines or I would just end up putting it off until later.

The scan turned out a bit weird. I had color all in the background (the same red col sketch scribble). When I color it on photoshop, if I get around to that, it shouldn't matter though.

2 pictures form the portfolio that I should have been finished doing months ago. I can't wait to finish it so i can stop criticizing myself, and just do stuff.

Quick, but amazingly fun, ink work. My first full ink only picture (not counting middle school ink pen stuff, but ink on paint brush type of thing). Was supposed to find a product (real life, or in a magazine) and ink it up.



Head and shoulders sketch. Gotta finish it in graphite. My favorite and more familiar medium.

So I was talking to Kreuz and saw some of her artwork which inspired me to pick up the pencil again. I kinda gave up on it for a few years, but she's inspired me to give it another go. Still rusty but for the first time also, I did her character pic in Open Canvas, which I must say, is a real joy to use. And yes, that's Nashira, a slightly modified version anyways.

Scanned the picture before I finished the coat. The scanner won't pick up low contrast. Most of the face shading is white, and I made him look pretty old with the skin texturez. Oh wellz.

How long have you been going to school for, Ploid? Wife is trying to talk me into taking classes, and I did for a while last year in a private class but it ended up being what I didn't want to do, which was everything but illustration/manga. I've gotten really good with oils and I enjoyed it more than pastels. Really good teacher in that school too, maybe I should go back and see if they hold any classes for illustrations.
