It seems like it's got some potential, the ability to fly around from pretty much the start of the game is kinda cool. It's supposedly a PvEvP game, meaning you fight both AI mobs, and other players. The thing that has me sceptical, though, is that it's made by NCSOFT, the same company the made the Lineage games. These games are massive grindfests, but one can hope they took a page out of modern MMO marketing and made it so that you don't have to spend months and months levelling up your character. Gameplay in the Lineage games was kinda fun at least, and the games were very visually appealing for the their time, although the world was kinda plain. The screenshots for Aion make it seem like they've put more work into the look of the world, though.

As always I recommend you don't activate ploid. Those 99 seals are probably not worth the 13 or whatever dollars it cost to activate. Keep as a backup for when Vedder is banned, or a friend wants to try it out I say.

If my pc works and can actually run this I might bite. Wait, no, I can't. No more mmorpgs, at least going back to ffxi wont hook me. I can't tempt myself with a whole new mmorpg.

The first 5 hour "trial" is free, but after that you have to start paying.
it's the actual game, and you can pay 1 buck for 16 hours so its not too bad for people like me that can't play 24/7, otherwise it's a shit load a month if you play it hardcore.

either way, once my 5 hr trial is over i'm just gonna wait till US release unless a lot of my friends start to play
