Nah mach, you're still good. The PC on easy even screws up some people (Abel, Gief, and seth). There's also a glitch when you lose that the next time you fight puts the PC at a harder difficulty. A lot of people get stumped at Abel for their easy run, then when they lose to seth he gets bumped to expert mode. Zangief is giving people the most problems though. The CPU cheats and will grab easy. Let's just say the cpu hax and do away with the modesty.
Arcade Infinity Street Fighter IV Ranbat 1.5 tournament (playlist good commentary as well). Watching people play this game is pretty fun. Hope I get mine today, darn Vicksburg trip. I should open a game store in this darn town.

This is a tournament at a arcade event rl. Commentary for the event. I actually like it. But yea it's less interesting when he's talking by himself.
Watch it all in order here
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M0nrHQd4 ... playnext=1Much more energy in this vid. Two commentators to feed off each other and not feel awkward talking to nobody.

Sad that there were no pro Dhalsim players like the JP tournament. JP always having the leg up on the US.

More proof of zangief's power, you can beat the game on the hardest difficulty just by spamming Zangief's helicopter spin over and over.
http://www.gametrailers.com/player/user ... 06775.htmlHere is a little movie I made. It shows how to beat the superhard mode easily by spamming the helicoptermove (Double Lariat or Quick Double Lariat) with Zangief.
I had to cut a lot in this movie, otherwise it's too long to watch.
If someone asks: To make this move is pretty easy. Just press L1 or L2 on ps3 and LB or LT on 360.
It's freaking easy and freaking lame. I can't guarantee that this move will work in multiplayer that well, because progamer will still kick your ass if you try to spam like this.^^
But for getting the achivement it's the best and easiest way to do it.
EDIT: thx for featuring this video.
btw: everyone who flame me for this cheap trick. I don't care what you think about this. It's just something we found out and it is only a little helper for others. I don't even like playing Zangief ^^.
And blaming someone for the music in the video is pretty low imo.

I need to invest in a arcade stick. I can't pull of half of those trial mode combos. Not even the simple stuff like Low punch, and Medium punch. They always have it as a situation where you have to hit them at the same time almost or something so fast that it's impossible to do it naturally.

Man, look at this, people do damage calculations like FFXI people.
Abel Combos and Glitches
List your favorite combos here using standard abbreviation conventions. Include the proper damage from the training data in training mode.
Make sure to perform the combo when the opponent has a full lifebar, because otherwise the damage will be reduced depending on how low the opponent's health is.
Also, discuss any glitches or bugs the character has.
I'll update this first post so once thing are found etc, no one has to read thru xx amount of pages.
Currently working on going through all threads to update this post, so dont worry that the other threads are closed
Combo damage calculations from noodleman:
All these are listed assuming your opponent is at full life, and has at least 1000 health (ryu). I'm pretty sure damage wont' get scaled based on health on any of these combos on any character, as it would need to do 450 for the rest of the cast before life damage scaling comes in (sorry akuma, you're at 850, so damage might get scaled for a couple of these combos).
Ultra's
1. Ultra (50%): 365
Code:
40 + 325 = 365
2.cr.fp, ultra (50%): 369.5
Code: 70 + 40 + 40*0.8 + 325*0.7 = 369.5
3. SA3, cr.fp, ultra (50%): 525
Code: 200 + 70 + 40*0.8 + 40*0.7 + 325 *0.6 = 525
4. cr.mp, lp rekka, sadc, cr.fp, ultra (50%): 533.5
Code: 70 + 30 + 70*0.8 + 40*0.7 + 40*0.6 + 325*0.5 = 533.5
5. f.mk, close fp xx lp rekka, sadc, cr.fp, ultra(50%): 427 (!)
Code: 80 + 100 + 30*0.8 + 70*0.7 + 40*0.6 + 40*0.5 + 325*0.4 = 427 (!)
6. SA3, f.mk, close fp xx lp rekka, sadc, cr.fp, ultra(50%): 556.5
Code: 200 + 80 + 100*0.8 + 30*0.7 + 70*0.6 + 40*0.5 + 40*0.4 + 325*0.3 = 556.5
life damage scaling probably doesn't come into play cause before the last hit the op still has more than 50% health. The second last combo was kinda surprising...shows you how bad damage scaling is in SF4. From the way the damage is listed in the frame data, the autocombo won't count in the damage scaling, meaning the last (and more damaging hit) won't be scaled to shit.
BnB Combos
1. cr.mp xx lp rekka, second high, final high: 188
Code: 70 + 30 + 40*0.8 + 80*0.7 = 188
2. cr.fp xx fp air grab*: 222/238
Code: 70 + 40 + 0 *0.8 + 160*0.7 = 222
70 + 40 + 160*0.8 = 238
3. cr.fp xx roll, lp air grab: 208
Code: 70 + 40 + 0*0.8 + 140*0.7 = 208
4. j.mk (cross up), cr.fp xx roll, lp air grab: 266
Code: 80 + 70 + 40*0.8 + 0*0.7 + 140*0.6 = 266
5. SA3, FP tornado grab: 420
Code: 200 + 220 = 420
SA3, close fp (1hit) xx lp rekka, sadc, cr.fp xx roll, lp air grab: 453
Code: 200 + 100 + 30*0.8 + 70*0.7 + 40*0.6 + 0*0.5 + 140*0.4 = 453
*i can't remember if the combo registers 4 hits or 3. First calc uses frame data which says there's a 0 damage hit before the 160 damage grab, if you use proper scaling, the first one would be the true damage, otherwise it's the latter.
I might calculate stun damage later.
note that if you want to tac on a move at the beginning, like a jump in, the whole thing needs to be recalculated.

lol Gief is a whore in deed! I play on the 360 and was trying to get the hidden characters. Friend comes over that I play online with and goes "why do you have it set to 3 rounds and normal?" I then proceed to change it to 1 round fights with the setting on easiest. Proceed to beat everyone easily but..... Gief. The mfker beat me 4 times!!!!!!! on easiest setting. My friend takes over and gets his ass beat 3 more times. So I ended up jut keeping my distance and jumping in for a kick here, a punch there, and in and out like that. It's all about keeping your distance and jumping or moving back as soon as you attack. Wish more of ya'll had 360's instead of PS3's. Eh be cool if they were cross platform servers, more competition for the game.

Yea I wish it was cross platform like FFXI. I don't know why games don't do more of that. But it might be because of strict rules of live and psn. FFXI might have gotten away with it because they are friggin Square Enix. They don't follow rules.
Some sick Abel videos. I really want to get good with this guy. Blanka is too much for some people. A dude just up and quit playing against me (when he wanted practice) because he couldn't handle blanka.
