since haste cap is 80%, a plus of 10% of haste from DB is pretty useless if u use /sam.
it'd be good just with /war for quick zerg fights like KV or Baha V2 but in meripo like i previously said, imo it's not worth it

Ah, but you see Herant, the reason why I don't include Hasso here is because if I do pop LR, I'm tanking regardless. So with that, I do Seigan/TE which would even let me Souleater when before I couldn't. Before, I didn't have the option of poping Souleater with LR because that is almost guarenteed death. All it would take would be 1 good WS to go off and I'd be done for.

But! It's all theory. I'll still 5/5 DB just to test it for myself and see how I do. If that gives poor increase to how I did before, then yes, I'll try 5/5 Diabolic Eye.

ventriloquy/role reversal seem so situational and prolly more for solo use than anything else =/

Not rly, Ventriloquy is very important. It will keep your puppet alive in multiple situations, including EXP and HNMs.

Role reversal is an ok skill too, because other people can't heal your puppet but they can heal you. Pretty convenient for Sharpshot frames in EXP and Valoredge imo.

Neither are worth more than 1 point though.

I'm personally going:

1 Role
1 Vent
5 Opt
3 Fine-tuning

Reason why is because Opt adds Attack, Defense, and Magic Attack which are all very useful.

Fine-tuning adds Acc, Ranged Acc, evasion, and magic defense by 5. All good stuff, but in my opinion PUPs main concern is getting Magic Attack up for our endgame mage frame. +25 Magic Attack is indeed awesome.

In case you were wondering, my plan for Group 1 merits is:

5 Magic Skill
5 Activate

I'm still debating on that, if not 5 Activate I'll put in 5 Melee. My Activate merits will be held off on until I try out 75 PUP for awhile and see how much time I spend twiddling my thumbs because Ina got pwned.

The reason I choose Melee and not Ranged is because not only do all frames use melee, Sharpshot frames miss more melee attacks than ranged in my experience.

Let me know if you disagree though Safer, your pup is higher than mine now >.>

before these update adjustments, i was originally planning to do
1ventriloquy
1role reversal
3 optimization
1 fine tuning

pretty much for the same reasons u listed... just now i was having second thoughts about the JA's, so needed some sort of reassurance i guess... but now 5 optimization and 3 fine-tuning seem best,

+5magic is a no brainer for bliz4, but not sure about the other 5 points...

looking at the 1 parse i have so far, pamama had 100% acc on ranged attacks (150 shots) while 72% acc on melee (340 hits, 129 misses)
melee to ranged shots is almost 3:1 and total ranged damage was 14k, while melee damage was 12k..... so ya... im definately thinking of meritting its melee combat skill over ranged, not only will it make ranger do more damage, it'd make all frames melee better like u said..

but it does suck terribly when pamama pulls hate and gets plowed... ive been in pt's where ive had to wait 10min for activate to be up again.. but if role reversal and ventriloquy can solve that problem, then i'd put the last 5 points in melee skill

want 75 pup so bad D:

I predict PLD Shield Spikes... will be the same duration and recast as DRK's Dread Spikes! If so, go go SE fucking up a way to get PLD's blood tanking again! :boing:

That doesn't even make sense. Also, paladins will never blood tank anything harder then dyna mobs effectively unless this update gives paladin a way to take no damage while not losing any enmity from taking damage, and generating a lot of enmity.

There's an LS on remora that still tanks everything /war, and they're probably one of the better LS's in the game^^ If you have the resources (multiple aegis', ghorns etc.) then it's fine. Suka's ebody was tanked by killer and gilean as pld/war with 0 issues pre SE sucking PLD cock with buffs. :ow:
