Part 1 I fully agree with. Part 2 I agree with on principle except that he says "Life on Hit" is a useless stat... it is quite necessary to certain classes. Also, he compares the Itemization to D2 forgetting to mention how much of it was actually implemented in the expansion. The expansion was huge and there were a lot of patches before and after that helped make D2 the game it is. So... I guess I'm still optimistic that the same might occur for D3. Its still early... really early.

Part 3 I didn't care to watch. There is no reason to even discuss the story. The story has been a negligible part of the entire series. The only complaint I have for the story is that I wish there was a way to completely bypass all the cutscenes.

Yeah he talked about not being able to leave the cutscenes out since the game is built on replaying over and over. Even though you can skip some it still delay you (boss > skip > fight). Some of the story stuff don't let you skip as the characters are talking to you (listen to me, she's surrounded, those guys want her relic... ok now I'll unlock this gate so you can get to her).

Treasure Goblin farm[/B]
Quest: Act 2 - A Royal Audiance or further
Waypoint: Road to Alcarnus

In this area there is a treasure goblin 50 % of the time. Dont go north to the new area or cross the bridge.

You have to clear a little trash around him but should be fairly easy.

50 runs, he was there 29 times.

Enjoy the hunt!

PS: There are some chests around this area aswell

Seems to be some truth to this.

I agree with basically all of this.

Were you referring to DH about the life/hit? I've never tried it. Most of the time it's not a terrible problem with caltrops/multishot kiting but I'd be willing to at least look into it for bigger fights.

No, he means monk, DH isn't meant to take hits, work on keeping your distance and being agile. I'm now getting over being able to take a lot of hits. Act 2 shocked that out of me and I didn't even bring my shield spec WD though I did have on a ton of all element resist.

That guy doing the video was a DH I bet. Life on hit probably isn't too good for them since they do fast hits, or slow shots. Monk hits fast and often while having cure abilities and other stuff to constantly benefit from the life on hit, same with Barb, and thanks to plague of frogs/pets WD.

When you have a ability that hits very fast and often, like a machine gun for example, the life on hit is most likely reduced to give you 33% of the advertised life on hit. Get some all resists but not so much that you hurt your dps a lot. You're going to die anyway, you're just letting them live longer to kill you with more health on their end.

I could be wrong though, however we have a pro DH here, Dye is sick. Umbasa

Tis true, Dye is baller. He's helped me out on a number of occassions now. He basically also geared me entirely at level 20 and 32.

Edit: Are you able to log on right now?

Nope, which sucks, cause I was able to log on fine right after the update. Now I can't log on because there were some issues with people having trouble logging on quickly or at all. So they took it all down because some people had problems... f those people, I was fine! Also, it has been 3 hours now.

gonna test that goblin thing for now. got through act 2 inferno now.
i usually farm in act 1 hell or inferno, even though it's not too good.
still have to get moneys for the inferno stuff to whimshire.

hell:
get level 5 valor in crypts-> whimshire

inferno:
skelleton king -> fields of misery

i don't bother for vit or life/hit, you get oneshotted anyways if you don't get smokescreen up. at least in act 2 inferno.

I'm going to try this farming method out. It's all about consistant gold farming. Very fast and no gambling for hoping for great loot. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L1NUJsF ... re=mh_lolz Tired of gob didn't get much but I did get gold with this i'll get even more gold.

My connection has been super laggy. Non-porting mobs appearing next to me and one-shotting. Fun.
