just went to speak to this NPC and he gave me a magic doll key item (like the one from the windy missions) and told me to kill the following NMs and then report back to him:
Tumbling Truffle
Tottering Toby
Blubbery Bulge
Black Triple Stars
Drooling Daisy
Jolly Green
Sharp-eared Ropipi
Buburimboo
Daggerclaw Dracos
Trickster Kinetix
Ixtab
Gargantua
Shadow Eye
Boreal Coeurl
Boreal Hound
Boreal Tiger

i have no idea if it's related to anything but yea, fuck killing all those ;/

From what I have heard the last exploit wasnt a "keylogger". Most of the people who got accounts stolen had their accounts set to auto-login. Some of them hadn't typed their passwords in years. It was lifting the encrypted passwords as they were being transmitted to POL.

Unless they are changing their encryption too, this will not help.

http://www.playonline.com/ff11us/polnew ... 3581.shtml

"Security Settings" has been added to the PlayOnline Viewer's Login menu. After selecting it and designating a destination folder for the encryption key, a file name composed of random alphanumeric characters will be created in that folder.

*The encrypted PlayOnline password and encryption key will not only be accessed when starting the PlayOnline Viewer and logging in, but will also be periodically accessed while playing an online game or using the Viewer. In particular, be careful about the following things:
- If you have saved the encryption key to an external device or a network drive, do not disconnect the device while playing a game or using the PlayOnline Viewer.
- If you have saved the file to an external device or a network drive, make sure the drive is the same as the one designated in "Security Settings."
*If the PlayOnline Viewer cannot access the encryption key, the saved PlayOnline password information will be erased and the encryption key will become unusable. In such a case, your account will not be affected, but you will need to re-enter your PlayOnline password to save it to a new encryption key. Each time you use "Security Settings," a new key file is generated with a new random file name and different contents. Deleting an old file will not cause any problems.
*"Security Settings" are shared by all registered members, and users cannot designate different folders for each member. Also, if PlayOnline password information is erased, it will be necessary for all registered members to re-enter their PlayOnline passwords once more.

Where was this two weeks ago -_-

Just get your character back already Howard. Nyzul Isle is sucking without your Kikoku. >o

Looks like I'm going to have to save gil. I'm not buying the expansion for a dagger, and a harness if that Annatar harness drops from the wotg areas. Now find out where the oil trousers drop from!

Man dagger of my dreams. I'm a sucker for evasion and it has accu to boot. If it cost more than blau screw it, I'll wait till it's pennies. Like wyrm horn (is wyrm horn down by now?).

I just wanted the price to see how far it dropped from the early prices of the wyrm horn when people first started killing the wyrms. When eden started ouryu they were about 24mil. I hope that dagger drop like a rock. That would be a great addition to my solo setup. I can never have too much evasion and it has accu. I don't have a blau due to it's insane price (24mil +ish back when. lol eudon paid 22mil I think). I want that friggin harness and accu oil pants too. If I have to run I'll equip the crow hose. I don't usually eat food when I farm/solo nms, even tough mobs to survive against (only if it's an emergency). For solo exp I eat though.

Waiting to get time to start again. I'll admit, Vedder took weight off my shoulders by keeping ploid alive. I wouldn't give SE the free money unless they added the whitegate arcade room, and a lot of solo/pickup and play activities. He's also far more productive than I would have been. I'll just keep poking the fact that he's giving SE extra just to play solo effectively.

When I'm back though I'll be 100% self funded geared, no loting or asking for pop nm help. AH, solo geared. I'll attend events as usual, like I do now when I can log.

Man I wish that front sneak attack was intentional ; ; :cry2:

Maybe worth letting some of our MNK's mess around with cerb/timmy and such provided they have suitable ws build for DK, apparently footwork does nice things for it. <_<a
