They play to the kid in me that like comeback stories, and robots. it's like Transformers + rocky + free willy with a slice of "what the crap" in the regard to robots moving so fluidly and the science fiction aspects.

I actually saw about half that movie... would have been cool if I was 9.
Friend I saw it with liked it though, think it appealed to the kid in him too.. sad thing is he's like pushing 40 lol

he's a standup comedian but I doubt you'd know his movie roles cause he's never starred in one, only been in them. only one that comes to mind is scary movie (idk which) but he hangs out with anthony anderson in that movie and basically gets slapped around trying to dap him up
