As much as I enjoyed being a boss rng, Ix was way more fun on pld. I rarely got to suit up pld though since I had to widescan that bitch.

Ix was pretty easy to read and gtfo of harms way when you're not actually tanking it. (Fairly easy even if you are tanking).

The best days of Eden are from when like Pale, Jaye, Eudon, Amy, Plois, Jrx, Juv, etc were all there (imo, anyway)

Arguing with ED and TF in the pit, watching TF wipe 5x to Cerb when it first came out and Eudon soloing with Spirits Within...The Juvant banning was probably my favorite day in FFXI history (Kny's banning also was quite hilarious, but it wasn't quite 3+ flails. I was pissed that he got banned, even made calls to SE on his behalf. The way it happened was probably the coolest thing ever. DON'T FK WITH JP'S!

Right when Eden was new, having a meeting with Jubo in a party doing silly hangout farming. We were in the process of getting Jubo's Carbuncle Mitts while discussing plans for Eden. Eudon is the other person.

He did this right before going off to work on farming Optical hat items so we had some people there (MG really wanted Ohat, wanted for a long time and this was his chance).

Probably was skilling up, and saw this and decided to practice team work on NM fights. (I'm sure this wasn't for Swieter's skulls yet. He wasn't into that at this time. I had better gear when he wanted this for skulls.)

Since this is a confessions thread, this is the reason I hate Taru. No one believed that this incident happened. I never recovered from it.


I think this is our first nid after the first nid Eden claimed and died to (TG gave us the drops on that. Markam's Dhalmy). No idea if we won, probably didn't. iirc it was like 3am or something? Actually nvm, I think this is when Percy got his K.body.


Dye finally got Ying Yang, the nm was new and he was dedicated in camping it.

I wish I had joined sooner, but I was anti-endgame during college. Probably, in part to seeing how consuming it was for Rufs. He was always pulling all nighters to play and/or skipping classes to play/sleep.

But seriously, by the time you joined it wasn't nearly as fun as it was when UP, TF, EX, ED were all around. Dragon's Aery used to have me laughing regularly. You were never as 'outspoken' as we often were in those days. Even though there was a lot of chatter by the time you rolled around it was never as awesome as when there was the variety of linkshells in DA all shittalking each other. Back before people became "I'm calling a GM-bitches" there was flails all the time...LOL REMEMBER HOW MANY TIMES IT DIED CFH'D?

DA was pretty much all business when I was down there. There were a few days that were entertaining but shit never really hit the fan. There's really only a couple days I remember in DA. Obviously, the day I got my hauberk, which I wasn't in the fight for. I think it was LP claim but they only had a tank party so our dds assisted. I was on pld and was not needed. Once it popped first window and mert, me and a few others were the only ones there. Half the time I was down there solo just to tod.

I joined up right when aery started to calm down, there were a few flails and dickery here and there, but nothing like the stories of the glory days of olde.
