Bought this the other day for like £9 from where I work (usually £40) and pretty much like what Mira and Mef do, I'm there playing on this game and my GF is watching me play it, listening to the storyline... Lol... Picked a Female Rogue Elf to start with and omg at the first quest, I lol'd most heartily.

Good game, shame I have no time to play it, along with FFXI lately. :<

Edit: wtfff aparently the auto save saved my warrior over my mage.

I came off of a nice vacation to correct you on this.

The game didn't overwrite your mage. When you make a new character a new character save is made, if you make multiple save slots with that character it's saved under that character name. If you go back to the main menu and don't pick continue you will see that your mage character is still there, you just have to pick it.

I've gone back to the main menu before I even posted that, went to load game and its gone. I have the auto save from the warrior and the other save I did on the warrior. and when I manually saved I didn't overwrite the mage.

Edit: nevermind, aparently there's a "Switch Character" option I didn't see before /dumb

also, I want a fucking healer, nao

If you want a mage first, go to the mage place first (I dont remember what it was called, the mage tower or something) when you are free to wander and do stuff. (idk how far you are into the story so I dont want to give anything away)

Mefs been busy with Modern Warfare(on xbox), and hasnt played dragon age since he beat it (once) :( I'll get him to go back to it eventually for the other stories though!

yeah I ended up getting it, didn't realize you could get it without going through the other part of the story first.

this fade part is kinda hard, I prolly should have leveled up more first :|
