One min I was playing a game, then out of nowhere polygons started tearing, and these purple and green squares started showing up. When I reboot they are still there, but sometimes when I make it to the windows splash everything is fine for a bit, and on to the desktop everything looks nice. But a bit later little glitches show up and it's back. The fan works on the card so I don't think it's overheating, also the catalyst icon shows 0degrees. Maybe that's broken. I have a backup Geforce 4 card but I really want to know if it's possible to get this working again. I read it could be the memory, the geforce card works with the same memory.
Yea, seem so. Sometimes it show up good, then it start messing up. Sometimes it work good after looking messed up. It's weird, some 3d games have tearing polygons like crazy. When I started one game it looked crystal clear, then it started messing up again. I'm new to this pc stuff, so should I guess that the card is fried? I wasn't playing that demanding of a game when it happened. It's a very old low requirement game even.
Well it was interesting, can't exactly say it was fun being back in the game. Although I did have some good moments here and there. Nyzul was so boring, glad that's over (was the only reason I was summoned). Playing on pc sucks, like really sux. Bad lag, and my controller sucked in ffxi. I press up one time and it registers and two ups, and so on for other buttons in laggy situations. Doing that KS99 stuff was a pain.
Imp sacrifice (died here, but the precious cargo made it to the destination).
I didn't take many good pictures. Well none that's as good as what other people took.
Oh I did a limbus duo with a PLD, we made it pretty far, but the crabs slowed us down a lot. We got to the kraken if I remember correctly. Saw Mira on my way to it. Was going to try saying hey but I locked onto the mob that the pld aggroed. I suck at PC keyboard controls. Instead of typing I locked on, H is it? I should have said "what's up" instead of "hey".
those screenshots look really good. I hate how on my windower, the resolution of the game somehow doesn't fit the entire "windower" window, so it the window shows 95% of the game and about 5% of some other garbage (either a black background or a background of the last pc game I played). Oh, and why don't you get one of those PC-Console controller converters? I bought one off ebay from $0.99 (but payed like $10 for s/h) that allows you to use your ps2 controller on the PC; its clutch. When I first played the PC version with they keyboard, I felt like quitting life.
Dion, to fix that, open your Windower folder (where it's all kept) and select the Launcher icon that looks like Notepad but with a cog on the front. Open that up and you can edit your Windower resolution to whatever your screen resolution is set to. If you have a widescreen Monitor, open the launcher_gui file, and select a screen size that would normally be on a regular monitor. Then when you are running the game, in Config > Misc. 2 > Background Aspect Ratio, you can alter that to fit the game to widescreen TVs.
