That's one of the only reasons want-to-be gangsters can get away with what they do. They never lose the war. When I was in school, I'd picture a tree of people I'd have to then fight as I looked at a scrawny punk try to tell me to give him money the next day (never happened). Come to think of it, the only time I gave a dude money is when I was asking someone to go get me a soda and this tall built dude (high school flunkee gangster want to be that should have been 20. I'm sure I'd lose that fight straight up, and make enemies in the process) stepped up and offered but wanted one himself. Never got that soda and I was told to not show my face in the city (nothing happened there).

People don't fight straight up anymore. Darn guns, playing Yakuza right now. These guys fight straight up, or use katanas, always up close and personal.
