I think the data and old characters don't get carried over until phase3.

Access to their beta forums are where the laughs are at anyways, so much stupid in one place, it's actually pretty glorious.

I think most NA's are going to Moogle or Tonberry, at least from what the beta forums are posting.

There is something like 30 pages of threads on them and testing hasn't even started yet.
