Monitor Help.

#1 Post by Kooyo »

So my desktop arrived today, but my monitor is still on the way, expected to be here thursday. This may be a stupid question, but if i hook up my new desktop to the shitty monitor i have now and install all my shit on it, will it mess up the picture or display when i swap out the shitty monitor for the good one? The new monitor is about 10inches bigger than the one i am using now, so idk if it will fuck up the sidebars or views when i swap it! HALPTHX!

My tech advice:
If the pegs match the holes, go for it!

If it does just adjust the settings?

All of the above, basically.

If the pegs match the holes go for it. Even if they don't you can get converters to hook shit up. I've got a couple really old monitors that need converters to hook up to my new pc.

You'll probably have to re-adjust settings with the new monitor but it shouldn't be hard.
