Hideo Kojima Is in Trouble With the TGS Demo of Metal Gear Solid V: Enemies are Too Unpredictable

http://www.dualshockers.com/2013/09/15/ ... edictable/

Hideo Kojima himself is going to show a gameplay demo of the Ground Zeroes prologue of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain at during a series of stage events at the Tokyo Game show, but he’s running into a problem: apparently the enemies are so unpredictable that he can’t really plan the presentation beforehand, as he explained on Twitter.

Quote:
Oh my, the demo for the stage event is 100% more difficult. The behavior of the enemy is different every time, I can’t help it because I cannot predict it. I found out while playing that it’s not possible to pre-plan the presentation. If it was our own booth, extending the time would be possible on a case-by-case basis, but this time it’s not.

Enemies with a mind of their own? LA-LI-LU-LE-LO

That is going to make the game exceptionally difficult to Big Boss rank. I had a hard time getting it in MGS4 because a lot of the time I spent memorizing movement patterns and well, going elsewhere.

Time to develop Big Boss skill then. You will probably not be required to memorize patterns but utilize the environment to manipulate enemies, and be aware of the space around you.

Challenge, accept the mission VD. Also we will get to see how much of a baws KojiPro is.

Oh I'll definitely get it. I just think it's going to take a lot more effort than when I did it last. It may be a bit presumptuous given that I haven't even picked up a PS4 controller yet BUT I HAVE FAITH.

Holy shit that's pretty.

Seems they took that camera idea from Farcry 3, I liked the way that let you plan your movements in that game. With the erratic enemy patterns I bet it helps with this game a TON.
