So, I woke up today, went to gamestop, picked up a copy of Street Fighter 4 for PS3, got back home and popped that shit in... HOLY FUCKING SHIT I swear if anyone hasn't gotten this game yet, GET IT! It's very, VERY fun! I've already went through the game with 2 characters so far (Ken and Abel. Abel is pretty bad ass. Hes got a nice chain combo which you can mix and match shit) and have played I think 7 or 8 online matches so far. I won my first online match against a C.Viper player, who was pretty decent. The online, surprisingly, was really good and had very little to no lag issues at all. One thing I've noticed about some players is that they will do any kind of spam to win the round if you are about to win (3 ryu players kept jumping into the air at me and then doing a low heavy kick when they hit the ground, I still beat them but they like low kicking you till they get you down to their level of health or they win.) There are also a TON of Ryu players online (so far that's all I've fought besides C.Viper which is kinda gay but whatever). Japanese players are crazy at this fucking game. I went up against a JP and he kicked my ass...well more like destroyed my ass. I managed to win one round against him out of 3. Even though he won, he was very sportsman-like and gave me some tips and help on some things about the game. He said "Keep playing, even if you lose, keep playing and you'll get really good at Street Fighter. I played since SF2 so I have much more years over you but still, keep playing online and you'll get good." That guy was a true street fighter player, not a douche or anything of that sort. Also, since he was in japan there was a bit of latency but the game didn't studder. It was more of a controller input lag but it was pretty damn close to instant. So yeah, Street Fighter 4 is probably one of the best fighting games I've played so far. I thought Third Strike was great, this is even better in a lot of ways (more balancing and shit). Online is solid and there is very little lag to none when you are in a match. I do have one complaint about the online though. I'm not sure if they put this in or not but they should add a system where you can rate your opponent (like if he was a spammer or a decent player, people will know what to expect when they fight that player). Overall, it was worth the $35 I spent on it (traded in LBP because no one was playing it :< so I got like $24 from that and they also took off $6 for trading in a game on the release date for it) and I say its worth the $59.99 too. I was debating on whether I should of rented SF4 and bought KZ2 but now I've changed my mind on that and I think I changed it for the better . PLOID, ORAPHIN, ANYONE ELSE THAT HAS PS3, GET THAT SHIT SO WE CAN FIGHT EACH OTHER AND GET BETTER!. |

Well then rent SF4 if you're curious. It's very addicting and fun though. |

I have Street Fighter HD. I'm waiting out this one because I'd never play it offline. SFHD's wonky online glitches will hold me over. Tomorrow I get Warhawk + all the expansions, and I'm letting Ora borrow Socom, next thing I'll know Killzone 2 will be out. I'm getting SF4 sure enough but in a few weeks and not right off the bat. I might also need a arcade stick too. I can only play with blanka with a controller. The other characters eventually hurt my thumb. |

Yea thought it was obviously fake. There's only one other alt and it cost $$ to get (DLC that's on the disk but requires a key to unlock. Love this gen). Oh and her thighs are thicker in the original. Good old Chun Li showing that thick and juicy is beautiful. Her and Beyonce. |

If Ryu blow on Chun Lee she's dead. He'd win the battle too. Posting this so I can bookmark it on my playstation later. Good fights inside. Learn from it Kaise, you'll need it. You got at least 2 days to be in tip top shape. http://www.youtube.com/user/EventHubs |

This is why I hate going to stores for a game. Stupid goose chase no matter what. I can't remember the last time I successfully got a game at a store. |

This game is fucking awesome. I picked it up on friday and played a bit during the weekend. Must admit, though. Either this game is really hard, or I am way out of practice. Zangief was being a fucking whore. |

It's not just you Mach. There's a whole new Zangief haters fan club. Zangief in the right hands always had the potential to ruin someone's day. I played one last night in SFHD. Let me guess he was trapping you and doing those throw/grab moves and you could hardly stop him right? If a gief player is good he can do that even if you block. You gotta keep out of Gief's range for just about everything. Check out how this dhalsim treat Gief in a JP tournament. He do all he can to keep gief away. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nhy3ema_ ... 18#t=2m49s And here he is fighting a ryu. He's not too worried about Ryu's position. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nhy3ema_J4M&fmt=18 Gief got a lot of HP and strong attacks. You can't let him get started on trapping you in a combo that ends in a grab move. Edit: More sf4 Zangief http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U6XvIhfkAx4&fmt=18 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WR7vn6ca ... 18#t=3m30s http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KKLbOOJLb4Q&fmt=18 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qk5_BsWlbf8&fmt=18 (Viper destroyed him on the second battle) Gief takes skill (I can't pull off those 360 motions for anything). When I get a arcade stick I'll try. |
