They did make her pretty ugly, you're right -- i think it was the hair colors that did it though, because when her hair isn't all crazy like she's not too bad imo. I just found the movie stupidly sad but tbh the time I watched the movie wasn't a great time for me romantically (but get@me and my harem now, yeahhhh) so that might be why for me it was really gripping. I liked the question it posed though, if you loved someone so much and lost them would you want your memory erased or would you want to live with the pain of the memories just so you could remember the good times too... its a question I still don't really know the answer to for my own life.
