Well the other day Safer asked me about this and I wasn't entirely sure, so I went and found the rounded figures for haste's effect on DPS for MNK. Code: Haste 0% 3% 5% 8% 11% 15% 20% 25% 30% 40% 50% Adjusted Delay 348 337 330 320 309 295 278 261 243 208 174 Adjusted Atk Period 5.80s 5.61s 5.50s 5.33s 5.15s 4.91s 4.63s 4.35s 4.05s 3.46s 2.9s Attacks/30sec 5 5 5 5 5 6 6 6 7 8 10 Attacks/60sec 10 10 10 11 11 12 12 13 14 17 20 Attacks/120sec 20 21 21 22 23 24 25 27 29 34 41 Utsu: Ichi Recast 30s 29s 28s 27s 26s 25s 24s 22s 21s 18s 15s Utsu: Ni Recast 45s 43s 42s 41s 40s 38s 36s 33s 31s 27s 22s So adding up your gear's haste total then factoring in which spells/songs you have on you: Code: Haste Spell 15% Advancing March 9% Victory March 11% keeping in mind that Haste caps at 50% total, you can figure out our damage per minute on LBC by factoring in our average damage per attack round. But then there's the inate ability of double attacking and kick attacking that has to be accounted for as well. WAR sub is what, 10% Double Attack? So /WAR with Brutal earring will give you +15% attacks. Then for kick attacks, the general consensus for calculating the rate is: [10+(kickMerits)+(gearBonus)] So if you were using Melee Hose and had full Kick merits (5), then you'd theoretically have a 20% chance of Kick attacking. So let's see... In one minute, using Walahra Turban Melee Hose Dune Boots Black Belt Brutal Earring and variable other gear alternatives, with Haste and Victory March, you'd have 43% Haste, a 15% chance of Double Attacking and a 20% chance of Kick attacking (for about 20 dmg more per kick than per fist average). 18 Attack rounds (36 punches) per minute with that amount of haste, ~8 kick attacks, and 5~ extra punches via Double Attack. Code: 36 Punches @45~55 dPerFist 8 Kicks @65~75 dPerKick 5 Double Attacks @45~55 dPerFist And finally, the totally variable accuracy stat which probably will fall around 75% on an LBC-type mob. [(36*50)+(8*70)+(5*50)]*.75 = 1957.5 Damage per minute! but wait, there's Asuran fists to be accounted for, lol! Let's just be vague here since, well I want to. 49 attacks @ 4.5 TP per connection with 75% accuracy = 165~TP, so there'll only be 1 Asuran per minute more than likely. Asurans generally do 200~300 dmg, so general concesus is that MNK/WAR is easily capable of 2200 damage per minute on LBC with correct support, with potential to do more. for NIN sub, I'd probably subtract about 400 damage due to 5-10 less damage per fist and only a 5% chance to double attack, as well as utsusemi casting times. And now I'm free to be bored again. |

nice kny... depending on what other gear you have available + if str is unlocked, asuran's will do more than 300 damage, but taking the worst case scenario is best. typically for LBC, the monks can either save TP for shoulder tackle, or asuran right after a homing missile mages would have to not run away and run up to the monks in order for them to get hate back to make things easier, having a backup tank standing far away from LBC building hate would be used to help hold LBC for the monks after a homing missile hits lets go fight LBC now! |

Wot about "Knyghtmayre misses Long-Bowed Chariot." How many of these have you factored???????? Else, pwn. I'm still not convinced about Mnk tanking LBC though. I guess I need to be shown it in person. TO BHAFLAU!!! |

So can you be pulled over in by a man on a horse in Canada? |

Actually, they have speed traps... dunno why, it's really stupid to be honest. They get out of their car, set up the radar at like at the end of a bridge or something like that and track your speed across it. Then they motion for you to pull over... I have yet to see any Canadian use a radar while in the car itself... hell, I've yet to see any canadian police force pull over people speeding on the highway. There's been several times where I'm in the left lane with a group and we're going like 140kmp. |

Cops on horses would be a lot cooler here than having fat slobs chomping on donuts with one hand and a radar in the other hand waiting to pull us over. |

ive seen cops on horses before, but they're not necessarily RCMP as for speeding... ive seen people pulled on the side of the highway, though i think they like to get people in city streets more often... |
