So, the Oxford Dictionary was the first Dictionary ever compiled. Yet I find that the website requires a strict login access to find its definitions of English spellings. Thus, the longest and one of the greatest British Institutions has failed me in this thread, so I must retire from attempting to validify my point by quoting the Oxford Dictionary, that 'Armour' is how you spell it on this side of the pond.
