Someone will be sending me a ffxi playable pc, and I kinda agreed I'd at least come back for a month to help them with nyzul, and limbus. Now I'm all giddy about rdm/bst with the new ja, and crap. It's like I'm going to prepare to get back into this fully - expansions that do nothing. I still won't be collecting gear or wanting shinys from the ah.

Speaking of shine, anyone remember that pwn bard that was in eden? I think his name was Shiny. He was so pwn tanking jailors and stuff. What ever happened to him?

I only posted about never coming back, and making sure I didn't come back by destroying my PS2 HDD files, and access. Now that my social ls is back in the game (a reunion of sorts) I'm having to go pc, and I now have a mind to want to come to do stupid stuff for a month or two (might do it longer if the team really want to bother collecting armor, and not do the events just for fun. The idea is to hang, relive the good old days, and quit again).

Vedder said he only sold a few things, and rdm/bst will be in tact - apollo's staff. All is well sef, thanks for the offer, lol gear amirite. Sidegrades, .01% 's and all that jazz. And no, it's very real. Again I'm not going to get the expansions past what I already had (ToAU), and I'm not going to exp, merit, or collect stuff/gil. I will help out on kings and events that I have access to (Not reapplyin.. applying). I'll probably end up afkreading ls chat, and hoping to find more people for our small limbus team (SoD people are all low level now outside of Nightwing, Spiderlily, Hogashi, Lenneth, and me probably. Only few will participate, sod for ya).

Dhil have you checked up on SoD lately? Can eden members still have a social shell? Will you get kicked now? It should be very busy, with a lot of the old SoD members.

I won't be back hardcore, just to chat from time to time, maybe camp a tod when no one wants to, and do those limbus/nyzul runs with those dudes whenever/if that ever happen. Also I want to see what all this level sync and rdm update is about. Especially rdm/bst with that ja. I can see that being pretty nice.

Yea hagun is long gone. I'm actually psyched to get to rdm shenanigans. Rdm/bst ftw, and doing things not hnm related with rdm was always fun.

Do I really need to use thermal paste for changing CPUs? Shenmu was kind enough to send me a 120gig hdd, a video card (AGP), some ram, and the CPU. I used to just change the cpu without paste. I hear that you can't put too much or too little on the chip. Tell me what to do PC gurus, give me advice.

I'll be getting it then. I never had a overheat problem with my old pc. I changed CPU with my cousin's slightly better old pc a loooong time ago and didn't apply paste. But old PCs probably couldn't overheat if they tried to. If this gaming pc attempt fail again, I don't know if I'll try again. But that Ion small gaming pc is around the corner. Now I'm shopping for a HDMI PC monitor. I'll want to use my PS3 on it too so I can switch from ffxi afking to games on the fly.

This is what I was looking at, not too much money for a PC monitor, and it's a good size.

$230 something.

That or I could just hook it up to a normal HDtv, but the seats are far back from those, and I don't want people seeing that I'm playing ffxi.

Edit: Oh also, windower still not allowed? I'd like to try those infinite macro rows. Screw those books.

It's 1080p and I'd be up close to it. I use headphones for sound via the uh, white and read cable.
