OMG

OMGGGGGG

And I thought the JP users weren't going to impress much lol. Those guys are hardcore. He rigged the block to activate notes that form the song when he continue to pull it. I should copy it and put some wheels on it and a motor so it moves on it's own, then put a level in the sky with Zanarkand themed textures, and look. Man, that song brings back memories. I didn't like FFX a whole lot but I played it a lot of times.

Yes, exactly. Hey, while this is moving down below automatically, I would have two electric bars that following the cart will zap you if you move too slow. And the track would have things to avoid or jump over and support 4 players as they try to be the last standing or something.

Like this

|..o..|
|-----|
O===O

The players are on the level "o" is on. The level with "---"'s is space and nothing in the view of the players. "O==O" is the cart and the music devices. Custom interactive music in your level. Heck you can even make it change tracks by doing an event in the level.

Edit: To Zanarkand Orchestra

That was just one level some guy like me and you made. (skip to my second post and look at those two videos if you have the time. They explain it better than my previous long post will)

Ok here is the online aspect of sharing things you make.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HfwznFG2SzA

TLDNR version: It's a co-op platform game that let you create levels, and share them instantly and watch feedback and tweak your levels based on feed back. Or you can not create levels and enjoy the crazy, and enjoyable levels only and have fun with friends in it.

Edit: Co-op play of a level created by the Little Big Planet developers (I assume).

The create mode is pretty open. You're pretty much only limited by your imagination, the thermomentor, and time.

Exhibit A: The calculator created in the LBP creator mode
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZiRgYBHoAoU

Quote:
i make an "electronic" 8bit calculator (not "mechanical" calculator). it can do Add and Sub. this calculator use:
650 magnetic switches
550 Wires
470 pistons

level name: Little Big Computer

It looks simple here, but at the end he shows all the wires, and things that make up the calculator. Astounding!
Image

Edit: The way the music works is the creator placed different speakers and assigned keys to each of them. That block that is pushed across the screen activates each key it passes apparently. I could copy the level and look at what he did by deconstructing it in editor mode if I want, but I'm pretty sure that's how it's done. The calculator however would give me a headache with all those wires.

Slower walking version of the Zanarkand song level.

I like the way the creator found a way to have the players move fast, and go in loops.

People are using this game to tell stories. There is a awesome MGS game. It starts with the submarine thing, then you crawl under that water container thing, and a guard in a snow suit is patrolling the area. After that you get a codec call, and etc etc. It's very entertaining, I just had a problem with the elevator taking so long to get to the top and bottom. There was also a murder mystery story. It was set in a foggy night with a bit of Noir with how close to black and white it was.
