I like Super's Idea better so Im jumping on his bandwagon:

I've totaled:

First car, 1981 Ford Escort Wagon, 4-banger manual transmission and yes, it was this babyshit color....
Timed Owned: 9months # of Accidents: 8
Image
This one died in a fire, like, a Big fire, fuel line split and pumped an entire tank of gas onto my hot engine. I kept the gascap as a memento.

Second Car, 1985 Ford T-Bird Elan, 5.0 V8. in Black. This was my money car at the local (illegal) races.
Time Owned: 1 Year # of Accidents: 1 really big one.
Image
Rolled this one, off a ditch, under a barbed wire fence, off a couple of trees and finally wrapped it around some huge fkn posts
that support grapevines in the local vineyard. Yes, I was speeding. This car got me into (and out of) a LOT of trouble.

Third Car, 1996 Cougar. I went with a V6 this time so that my driving record could cool off.
# of Accidents, quit counting, had 8 in one month, 3 in one day once. My insurance company hated me. Most were not my fault.
Image
Met my stalker Ex in this car, he proceeded to break into it and steal my shit every 2-3 months for the next 4 years. In that time I changed the oil, um, never. Sold it to some friend of a friend of a friend, who scrapped it after my stalker ex broke into it and slashed the leather and pissed on the seats.

Fourth Car, 1998 Chevy Blazer
Image
Blew the engine after owning it 1 week, I was in Alabama halfway into my cross-country drive, on a Saturday. No place to get it fixed until Monday because (as the local yokel put it) "True believers in the word of God don't work on the weeknds" anyway, GG lemon law!

Fifth Car, 1995 Ford Taurus
# of accidents, 3.
Image
Yeah, blew this one up too. Time owned, 1 year.

Sixth Car, 2001 Hyundai Accent.
# of Accidents, 0.
Image
Still going strong *knocks on wood*

More of a learning bike until I get deeper into bikes for a better featured one and a bit lighter. Got it for $2,000 from someone in McComb MS. Kinda scraped the side as I tested it not having any experience :\. But this shall be good for joy riding and easier on gas costs.

Kinda regretting the paint. Told the guy to do one thing and I guess it was too complicated and he went with a easier thing. Had to take pics in case he screwed up the bike and such legal things.

It looks purple in these pictures but it's blue (adaburk blue. jk kobalt blue).
Picture of the helmet before paint
(crap it's gone off my ebay list) anyway it was black and had cards and other graphics on it.

Shoot man, my uncle back in the day had 4 bikes, a Super Bee with the weird big wing, and raced a lot. Black people didn't have those kind of cars back in the day and he would out run police (mississippi, lot of open road back then). I saw what he can do on this bike (he stopped riding a long time ago, he's like 50+), and my jaw was floored. All those stories had to be true after seeing him push this weak bike.

His daughter 19 now, had a even better bike. Wouldn't expect a short skinny girl like her riding one. And his only son want one and is going to get it eventually. He's against it all now but it saves gas and good for the location. And yea you forgot to watch Torque lol jk. Bikes are pretty popular down here.

Woo, I'm in the process of sending this guy the money for this bike. Only 2,000 for it. Pretty much the same I paid for the current bike. Now I just need to get someone to buy the old bike. I painted it, and put a new exhaust system on it. Maybe I'll get more that what I paid if I play my cards right.

And it's cheap if you only need to transport yourself, another person (note: dudes don't hold onto other dudes waists), and a aerodynamic backpack worth of goodies.

Thats a nice bike... I wanna learn how to ride a motorcycle someday but my parents would kill me cuz it's too dangerous... My dad's had some bad experiences when he was young on those mountain bike things... So he's TOTALLY against it.

I'd agree with your father. You gotta respect these hell bent contraptions. You can get a bit too into the speed and try to have fun on a open clear road then bam, a deer out of nowhere. Sure stuff can happen when you're very cautious also. Wear the proper gear (leather, helmet, ankle guards, etc) and you might be able to walk away from some minor accidents. I wouldn't want my son to ride one hah. Heck my uncle that had bikes when he was young is also against us getting bikes. Yet after riding this bike I have now 2 times, speeding in the empty streets until we couldn't hear the bike anymore in each direction he went he would get off it and say "That thing will kill ya boy. Listen to me, I'm telling you from experience." etc. He's now even talking about getting one himself.

I got a cousin that screwed himself up on a four wheeler. Broke all up, stitches, swollen up, almost unrecognizable. Yet after months of recovering, he get back on another one... It's not a bike but it's pretty much the same although less stable, and more dangerous. Fleshy body, on top of hundred of pounds of machinery and a tank of fuel. Bikes are good for commutes when you get there asap and get off the road though.

My dad always says its much safer in a car because its metal surrounding the person, whereas when your riding a bike its the flesh around the metal. Sort of like... you're protecting the bike instead of the car protecting you!
