K, so my first question is that if you work in customer care, and you don't give a shit....can you really call it Customer Care?!

Ok, real question. I've been thinking of getting a PSP for a while now, mainly cuz I want to play Final Fantasy I and II again, but also to watch movies and play other games while I'm at work (which is allowed, just in between calls. We have ppl here w/ portable DVD players, so npnp).

My question is that I've heard from a few ppl that there have been issues with it...blah blah blah...anyways, is it worth getting a PSP or should I go for something different? Like a Nintendo DS?!

He also want to watch movies and other stuff* DW. PSP seems pretty neat, it's almost required if you have a PS3 (remote play = family photos, gigs and gigs of music, presentation things always with you on psp. And the new psp had the video out so you can look at family wedding videos or whatever you have on ps3 from your psp that's displaying the video/sound on whatever tv/projection you have near available while the ps3 is 300mile away). I want your job! Sounds like fun Sad well Pale's tux job sounded like fun too, since he could play ffxi there.... what the crap.

well idk, i never managed to watch movies on PSP, it's just too small, and a modded DS can do music/rom hack games too, so yeah, DS beats it in terms of price/battery life and all that

I have both and overall DS is more fun and much more enjoyable. But, if you're a hardcore gamer and need the better graphics and better gameplay, get the PSP. Also if you like to listen to music/watch movies, get the PSP.

You can get any game for PSP for free (if you buy a 40$ mem stick)
You can get any game for DS for free (if you buy a 60$ game card)

i personally think PSP is more fun, though I only have 1 game for DS since I'm broke and can't afford the cart to DL all the roms to.

So today I found my old Gameboy Advance, and the local GameStop has a used Final Fantasy so I'm gonna go that route, and save up for a PSP!

The only thing that sux about my GBA is that it doesn't have an outlet for an adapter, so I have to use batteries. :<

Oh well, at least I have rechargeable batteries.

no it was for the original (i never got a SP) but it was third party hardware, so it might prove hard to find.

You can do a lot of things with PS3+PSP. When you're not home you can download stuff to your ps3 to have it ready when you get home, like demos from psn, or psn games. You can download psx games to ps3 and play it on ps3 then if you have to go you can transfer the save file to psp and continue from that save point since the psx games from psn are compatible with psp and ps3, also the save files. You can play ps3 games on your psp lolz.

So you can play Lair on your PSP using Remote Play. The first time you launch it you will receive a timeout error (at least I did). I reconnected and then it launched, starting from the THX demo.

You fly with the analog nub. It stutters sometimes but is definitely playable. The resolution isn't bad either.

I've only tried it via ad-hoc with both my PSP and PS3 on the same WLAN. Maybe someone could try it outside of their own network.

My quick/horrible pics.

Not all games though. I think they're experimenting with it but sony seem to expect this to be a feature or their whole plan. Pretty neat feature, not sure how well playing ps3 games works for when you're 300miles away though. psp just act as a display, and remote control via the internet. Lag may be a problem, would be great for rpg's in wait (not active time battle) mode though I suppose.

lol Sorry scor. Tinypic is too cool to change to another source.

And about you being stuck. Good stuff, the early FF's always seem to kick your teeth in. After ff6, they pamper you.
