Best feature to the psp is the video out feature, so now you can play your videos and games on your big screen....
HOWEVER they forgot to mention they will force the latest unhacked version upon your ass so that you are limited to play as they want you to play :p
Ill agree, the MS conference didnt really wow me....pretty much RE5 trailer and CoD4 were the highlights.
Still doesnt mean much though, if you think about all the stuff that people got excited over for the other shows, MS has been giving us that info as it comes all year. OMG SMASH BROS HAS A DEC RELEASE DATE....we got the halo 3 release date a while back and on top of that we got it sooner than expected(instead of later than expected with a dec release date)
If E3 was when it usually used to be, Halo 3 release date, DMC4 to 360, xbox 360 elite, ace combat 4 exclusive to 360, Virtua Fighter 5 based on the latest arcade version + online play...all that would have been cool to learn at the same time.
Also dont forget Madden 08, NCAA 08 and Allstar football 2k8 will all run at 60 fps on the 360 compared to 30fps on the ps3...
Sony did these things to impress me:
$100 price drop on 60 gig...until i found out its now being discontinued like the 20 gig was, and the 80 gig gets rid of emotion engine so no full backwards compat anymore.
PSP redesign...but like i mentioned not having custom firmware will suck as it makes the psp what it is imo
Unreal Tourney timed exclusiveness...i was looking forward to playing it this year but oh well
MGS4 sticks with Sony...but konami did release a statement saying sony needs to step its game up before they need to make it available for a wider audience(aka 360).
Nintendo gave a release date to mario galaxy and smash bros, which was enough for me. The whole "we do new things to be cool" kind of gets old though. They also announced Mario Kart wii...but it wont be out til 2008. It also comes with a controller that will make it easy for noobs to play vs vets...i dont know if thats a good thing though.

Thats over 15 titles I'm looking forward to this year, and many can only be had on the 360.
I also like how we can download almost all of the trailers in HD on marketplace and they give us a bunch of demos during E3(NCAA 08, The Bigs, Ace Combat 6, Blue Dragon and Stuntman so far)
Those GT5 pics look awesome...i just dont like racing games though
DiRT, FORZA 2, PGR4, GT5, none of them appeal to me even though the genre gets a bunch of good games
