Just make sure to constantly check your CC online statement for updates.
The CIA, CSIS (Canadian CIA), Britsh Gov't are all over this.

PlayStation-maker says that key personal info was security protected and likely not stolen, confirms co-operation with law enforcement.

As day eight of the PlayStation Network outage nears day nine, Sony has posted a new Q&A regarding the data leak that accompanied the service disruption. Two days after it said that personal information was compromised, the PlayStation-maker is trying to soothe customers' fears by saying that all credit card information submitted to the PSN was encoded.

Sony says all credit card info on the PSN during the data leak was encrypted.

"All of the data was protected, and access was restricted both physically and through the perimeter and security of the network," the company said in a statement on the official PlayStation Blog. "The entire credit card table was encrypted and we have no evidence that credit card data was taken. The personal data table, which is a separate data set, was not encrypted, but was, of course, behind a very sophisticated security system that was breached in a malicious attack."

The company said that the reason it has warned customers that their credit card data may have been stolen was out of an "abundance of caution." The company also pointed out that users' credit card security codes--often called CVC or CSC numbers--were never stored on the PSN or Sony's Qriocity media service, which was also compromised in the attack. These three-digit codes are usually necessary to make an online transaction.

It's online right now, if they had a problem while allowing people on state after state that's not too surprising. They were probably monitoring bugs and you can't really prevent any stuff from going wrong 100% on a new system. Now if it goes down for a week from a bug that would be pretty fail.

lol Lutia

Buy PC
Play TF2
Surf eden

No it isn't down.

Be quiet Lutia, Bill Gates is a faggot.

I did have to do a system update. Also they made me change my password as well as re-accepting the licensing terms (didn't read, but I assume they don't want regular people crashing their whole network again). Other than that I notice no changes. Did just get a message from Plois that he sent me a rally car so that's pretty baller.

Thanks Plois.

I'm sure it was before all my shit started going down which is why I had to stop.

I should prolly get a can of compressed air to jet some of the dust outta my ps2, ps3, and laptop really.

I hear that's not a good idea. Unless you open the system and blow the dust out. Otherwise a lame vacuum would probably be better. I'm going to get compressed air as well, for when my PC starts to get all that dust inside it. Take it ouside and hose it down like a dog.

How does buying a system make you a profit? If anythingit sets you back quite a bit.

Nevermind that 360 makes you pay for online play.

Better to get a PC than 360. Mostly get the same games + more, and free online, and free live. If you already have a PS3 there's no reason to get 360.
