Seriously. I saw a stat that said he only walked 20 batters in 1997. 6 of those were intentional walks. Hitters brought the count to 3-0 against him 4 times THAT ENTIRE SEASON WHAT THE FUCK. |

Clearly those guys never watched him play, he'd make you miss an 85 MPH fastball 4 times in a row in the same spot. The best is how outraged everyone that Dan LeBetard sold his HOF vote to Deadspin and the fans. Bob Costas is so mad because they all feel like their votes were cheapened when there's no reason it shouldn't have been in the hands of the fans. |

The only thing that's cheapened in my mind is every vote ever, since if arguably (and let's face it..unarguably) the minimum fifth best pitcher ever doesn't receive a full vote, the whole system is fucked. I originally wrote "flawed" but "fucked" just worked so much better. Dude pitched 5000-fucking innings. I'm a little bit biased because I grew up watching the Braves (TBS), but still, it's also not biased because in this situation I can say I'm right haha |
