Think I mentioned this briefly in another thread, but...

I got a new laptop today. I actually won it free at my work's company picnic, and it is so much more gangster than I could have imagined, but they just gave it to me now cause they forgot it at the office pre-picnic. idk about the technical aspects of it, but I'll type it out so you nerds can tell me whether or not it's ballin.

Also it came with a remote control so I can watch television on it with the right components, also acts as a DVD controller as well.

The picture is as good as any of those pimp-ass Mac monitors that run like $1800 each, though it obviously isn't quite as large as those. I can't wait to see what FFXI and other stuff looks like on this screen, as I anticipate it to look absolutely amazing. I do hope that I'm right. Really though, it was free and I needed one badly...gonna have a hard time complaining about it regardless.

Absolute fail. Should move this to Wall of Shame. Although free, that thing is like 5 or 6 years old, and I'm expecting FFXI to run like crap on it.

Acers kinda suck - cheap laptops overall - google it. Good for general stuff, grandparents and college kids

You da man Vedder. Gratz on pwn laptop. You have to excuse Lutia, he's a pimp Tech overlord. Of course it's a downgrade to him, but for people like me it's a pwn laptop. I keep saving for a new awesome pc but I keep spending the money. Also trying to save up for real life stuff like a bigger house.
